Cass Community Social Services 

Cass Community Social Services is dedicated to making a profound difference in the lives of the diverse populations it serves by providing for basic needs, including affordable housing, promoting self reliance and encouraging community involvement and improvement.  CCSS prepares 20,000 meals a week that are served to homebound seniors, homeless people, two hospitals for adults with mental illness and the Detroit Police Department.  Cass offers emergency services and both transitional and permanent housing for homeless men, women and children.  The agency provides health services for all the homeless residents utilizing a medical doctor, nurse practitioner and a host or RNs and LPNs.  http://casscommunity.org/
